Further to the development and successful on site trials, MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd. announce the launch of the Mach-SmartGate® to enhance their Mach-Secure® Checkpoint product range.

Mach-SmartGate® automatically routes passengers through Checkpoint AMD’s and/or Full Body Scanners in an orderly and controlled manner, optimising passenger throughputs and security personnel resources.

On-site trials delivered an increase in passenger throughputs, a high level of customer satisfaction and overall feeling of safety, whilst relieving security personnel from directing passengers through the Checkpoint security system.

With the modular build design Mach-SmartGate® offers numerous configurations, integrating industry standard AMD’s, full body scanners or just security officer body search options. The modular build design approach goes a long way in future proofing the user’s requirements with the knowledge that future technologies can simply be dropped in, avoiding the expensive “Replace All” scenario’s.
