Official launch of the innovative error proofing pick to light system "MachPick"® for January 2006
MacDonald Humfrey’s Products division launched the innovative error proofing pick to light system "MachPick"® in January 2006. The first system delivered was at BMW Oxford for Side Indicator Fit station.
A great deal of interest as been shown by many manufacturing companies seeking a simple cost effective solution to eradicating human errors in assembly and logistics companies for fast efficient error free picking solutions.
The product range consists of:
- MachStick® combined error proofing & pick to light
- MachBox® push button & visual numeric/alpha displays
- MachAlpha four line alpha numeric display
- Mach Controller to provided connectivity to the outside world.
All products are fully interchangeable within a system enabling the user complete flexibility to configure a variety of applications.
The System is designed to incorporate a wide range of peripherals connecting to the Mach Controller such as bar bode Scanners, printers, CCTV and message displays etc. The dystem interfaces seamlessly towWarehouse management/scheduling systems or can be configured as a standalone system utilizing the intuitive self teach configuration module. |
