Scotland Gives MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd Majority Vote

Glasgow Airport has joined Edinburgh Airport as two of the three major Airports in Scotland to vote for the introduction of the Mach-Secure® suite of products to increase efficiency & security through their terminals.

The MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd Mach-Smart Lane® along with the unique Mach-SmartView® product and SEMS® (Security Efficiency Management System) has been chosen by Glasgow Airport to enhance security and efficiency at their Airport.

The existing ten lane security hall for the process of outgoing passengers is being upgraded to include the Mach-SmartLane®, Mach-SmartView® and the SEMS® system to maximise passenger processing efficiency as well ensuring the existing security level is complied with.

Glasgow has already recognised the value of the Mach-Secure® suite of products with the previous introduction of the Mach-SmartAccess® solution and the SEMS® (Security Efficiency Management System) system. The Mach-SmartAccess® system allowed Glasgow to increase the efficiency of the passenger processing into the Security hall and the introduction of the Mach-SmartLane® / Mach-SmartView® solutions are seen as a natural progression of this efficiency goal.
